So, I went to cold cold cold Minneapolis last week to participate in a professional development seminar that lasted 4 days, organized by the company I work for. It was pretty amazing to meet people, and surprisingly (but not really, it makes sense) meeting girls my age, doing the exact same thing I do, using the same tools and dealing with the same issues I deal with during my work hours.
We were definitely "brainwashed" in a way to really love and support our company of course, but overall, this seminar enabled me to give a new meaning to my job. I really feel like I have a better idea of what my purpose is in the office, and I really learned about myself, about what I can do and what I love to do a bit more. Yay for that!

I also would like to add that I had the pleasure of meeting some lovely people from the Midwest and South and that there is such a thing as Southern hospitality as well as Southern gentleman! :P
Overall, this trip, these people and this new motivation made me think that maybe...hopefully...no, surely, in the next couple of years, it might be time to get out of my comfort zone, move out of LA and "explore new horizons"!
